CODE OF CONDUCT

All DSKI members, representatives and affiliates shall maintain the highest professional conduct at all times. In particular, all members, representatives and affiliates shall conduct themselves in a manner that brings honour to the martial arts and DSKI.

Membership in DSKI is an honour and a privilege. All members are expected to hold the highest standards of respect and dignity.

All DSKI members must agree to live by a code of ethics. In particular, they must:

  1. Refrain from rash and impetuous behaviour.
  2. Respect all forms of life and uphold the law.
  3. Show respect and courtesy to each and every person they meet.
  4. Honour their parents and teachers.
  5. Respect the property of others.
  6. Seek excellence in actions and performance in all their pursuits.
  7. Represent DSKI, Yakushin Shotokan and Karate in the best manner possible.
  8. Learn, train and promote Karate as a martial system of self-defence and health.
  9. Live Karate-Do in the dojo and in everything they do.
