REGISTRATION WITH DSKI

Individual Yudansha (black belt) Karate-ka wishing to join Dynamic Shotokan Karate-Do International should in the first instance send their Membership Application Form to DSKI in Melbourne, Australia. For enquiries email darwish@surf.net.au.

All individual membership applications will be assessed by the Chief Instructor. Upon approval, a DSKI Certificate of Membership will be issued.

All Dan grading shall be conducted by the Chief Instructor or his nominated representative holding a valid Certificate of Authority.

All Dan holders from the following organizations wishing to register with DSKI will have their Dan recognized on application with supporting authenticated true copy of their diploma and payment of the requisite administrative fee (see Requirements).

Japan Karate Association (JKA)
Shotokan Karate-Do International (SKI) - Sensei Kanazawa
International Shotokan Karate-do Federation - Sensei Okazaki
World Shotokan Karate-Do Federation (WSKF) - Sensei Kasuya
World Shotokan Karate-Do Australia (WSKA)

Dan holders from other Shotokan Karate organizations will be assessed on case by case basis.

GROUP AFFILIATION

All group affiliations will be evaluated and approved by the Chief Instructor. On approval and payment of requisite fees, a Certificate of Affiliation will be issued together with a Book of Rules setting out the terms and conditions of affiliation. Within 12 months of affiliation, the affiliated group must invite the chief instructor to an official seminar organized by the affiliated group for the purpose of validation and introduction of DSKI training curriculum.

Dynamic Shotokan Karate-Do International is dedicated to the promotion and development of scientific Shotokan Karate. Only applicants who meet the required DSKI standards and who are willing to teach the official curriculum of DSKI will be accepted as affiliate members.
